They Want You to Struggle

I had this thought the other day, maybe someone else which existed previosly too had the exact same thought but I am sharing it with you people anyways.

So, the consideration that I had reached was that they want you, us, you and me, to remain struggling, indefinetly. And by struggling I mean, in constant debt, thinking about our income, or even if we can make ends meet at the end of a month.

Why you ask? And who is they? Oh, hang in there, one question at a time…

As for ’they’, I mean the governments in general, or even the big corporations, those in power, the top 1% of the 1% of this world population. They don’t want you roaming free, they want you enslaved in technicalities that you have to fight to resolve, day-in, day-out. And why do I say that? Oh, glad that you asked it, because we come to the second question in particular…

You see, people who are struggling and mostly thinking of either their safety, or wellbeing, for survival in general, will have all of their utmost attention focused and directed towards exactly that: surviving. Be it paying the bills, taking care of the kids, not losing one’s job, or not dying because of violence… All of this takes a toil on our cognition. It wears us out…

Then, the last thing you might want to do, after a stressful and boring day at your job, I guess, is thinking critically! To develop some sort of critical thinking in any case… So, when people are tired, what do they turn to? A few years ago, it be the television, but right now you no need to be at your home and sofa for that, no! You only need to pick at your pocket the small gadget that never sleeps.

Be it your phone, your tiktoks, your instagrams, or reels on youtube, everything, literally everything, just sucks your attention, and all you are left with is pure brain rot. And tell me, do you think the kids that have got brainrotted this generation will fare any better in the future with politics or fending themselves from nuclear disaster? If all, things will only get worse.

Because they want to remain in power, completely forgetting and throwing out of the window the consideration that they are mortals, just like us too. But for that, for the power to remain intact, they need a mass of non-critical people that will or would not rebel at any sort of contraption.

So, in the end, the struggle, is real, and maybe, that kind of shit is also manufactured for it to make you a slave of your thoughts (or lack thereof), when in the end, those which have a spare time to think, are the ones making decisions and getting bigger pockets too.

They don’t want you to prosper, no, that would be counterproductive. They want most of us to remain exactly as we are. Because monkey see, monkey do. And a good civilized society which is incapable of thinking straight is very good to diverge and steer into all different directions.

Maybe… Maybe doublethink wasn’t so far fetched after all. And maybe, unfortunately I guess, we are just beginning to witness an even more deepening inception of what was foreseen by those authors in the past.

In the end, those didn’t seem to be about fiction, but more of a warning of some kind.

A warning of our struggles.

And how, then, when are we going to start getting things more seriously?

Rise above your struggles people, take the time and take the plunge, do not be only like cattle waiting for the slaughterhouse of your minds.

Think, goddammit think for oneself! Think for all of us, for the friggin’ future of our goddamned species. Exercise your thoughts, take on new skills, for Christ’s sake do something.

Or else, we, and our descendants will then soo, farewell a bitter future, way less better fetched than the one we are currently living in.

I know, I know, it wasn’t your wrongdoing in the first place, and neither mine, but hell, are we just gonna let everyone run the show like this? And watch on standby our own demise because we are just too lazy?

Fuck me. You can do better than this. We can do better than this. We will do better than this.

I hope, somehow, that those words have made you think about something more worthwhile than just mindlessly numbing your mind through meaningless scrolls.

I hope that, then, we might be able to do something.

Rise, people, rise! Go far above our problems, do not give up. Do not go hollow. We deserve better.

I do hope the message was sent across.

Out.

Paece.
