Outer Considerations

Something that can’t quite grasp into words but…. Consider this, that the very things that we have today, other human beings are never gonna experience such. Because they have ceased to exist before such possibilities spurred up. Same with us, things in the future we will never really be able to fathom, but will still exist, us being here or not…

Or maybe some of these things will just be possible because of us, too, somehow. Not as in, if we had invented some new kind of technology, or gadget, but also a portion of history too. Some possibilities we will never be able to guide us, while others we are living right now, albeit for a limited time, in a limited amount.

Backup People

On the necessity of “Backup people”, if so we could call them this way, and what do I mean by that?

Take for instance, Andrea Riseborough which plays Cruise’s Communication Officer in Oblivion (2013), or Zip from Tomb Raider Legend and Underworld. Jarvis in MCU with Ironman, or TARS from Interstellar are some of the few other examples I can think as of now…

And I bring this up because I feel it often goes overlooked, such roles as these. I mean, input of information at certain times is crucial for the tasks that one must perform, especially if you are out in the wild, in some alien set, or probably facing threats where you have little to no time to ponder about responses and with limited resources.

Uneasy Times

Hi people.

I don’t know if everybody has heard about it, but the Chernobyl Powerplant was attacked this february (2025) by a suicide drone from Russia (probably, authorities say). If you didn’t notice, we are already in may, and there didn’t seem (at least for me) any kind of news whatsoever about this situation before.

This got me worried. I mean, the current situation of the world in which we live in, war in Ukraine still raging, Palestine and Israel conflict, the Proxy Trade Wars, and then there’s Lady Gaga doing a show for free in Rio’s Copacabana beach to break the streak.

Knowledge's Failure

I’ve just talked with a friend of mine which shared some experiences on how her brother was struggling to get into grips with being what he perceived as a “failure” of sorts. And so she shared with me a bit of their debate of what a failure really was, in terms of knowledge and so forth…

The thing is, seems that nowadays, we are all too centered on the things that knowledge of a certain topic might or ought to bring to us. Be it fame, followers, more money on our bank account, means to survive and “thrive” in terms of our modern society standards. Trouble is, not every kind of knowledge is monerarily measurable, or in terms of “gains” it ought to bring to us, so why do we constantly treat is as if it were as such?

Glamourization of Work

I’ll make this a short one.

Mostly because the matter at hand is pretty straightforward. But, it seems like we are trying to glamourize through a certain cadence of perspectives, the dreadful reality which work involves.

I mean, the bunch of posts we have on a certain platform exalting work and the workplace and whatmore, especially inside IT departments, is just astounding, as if working in this day and age would be one of the best things for your life. To a certain extent, it is, due to our need of paying for our groceries and the things we buy, buy beyond that…

Unfathomable Heroes

Sound Track: Tomb Raider Legend Manor Theme (Extended Edit)_

Lara Croft, Harry Dresden, or so many others one could think about… No, they don’t exist in our society (at least not as in Marvel movies and the like), and yet, they themselves seem to be so much needed for the breeding of our imagination and consideration of possibilities beyond the ordinary from which we live.

On a random comment around the internet, a user said: “I know she is not real but she gave me comfort” and hoo boy, that resonated on so many levels, you can’t even imagine.
